Foundation School of Systematic Kinesiology

What is Systematic Kinesiology?

Kinesiology is the most potent, safe, powerful and natural approach to holistic health care that has ever been discovered.

Traditionally Kinesiology refers to the study of muscles and movement in the body. However in the complimentary health sector the term Kinesiology covers a broader spectrum.

Muscles are used as ‘indicators’ to reveal imbalances and stress in the body. By completing a series of muscle tests and kinesiological techniques we are able to detect those imbalances and to determine which corrections are needed i.e. Massage, nutrition, or stimulating certain contact points.

Kinesiology combines the principles of traditional Chinese Acupuncture and the more modern techniques of muscle testing, structural analysis, nutrition, and emotion.

Will kinesiology help me?

Unfortunately it is not uncommon for a kinesiologist to hear from a client: “I’ve tried everything else. This is my last chance.” Sadly many people suffer for years with chronic conditions such as eczema, tiredness, headaches, digestive problems, depression, joint-pain, ME, chronic fatigue, acute pain, IBS, (the list goes on). These pains are symptomatic of a bigger picture. Kinesiology helps the client discover things about themselves and their bodies. Mainly, they ascertain what their bodies need to get better.

The cause of most of these problems is the way we live; our hectic lifestyles, stress at work and at home, inadequate eating habits, lack of exercise etc. Unfortunately, our bodies are only designed to withstand a certain degree of stress. When this becomes excessive something has to give. Certain parts shut down when under duress. This is often compared to how a fuse blows in a house when we overload the electrical circuit.

When we remove the stress causing factors and add a few stress reducing techniques we replace “the fuse” so the body can operate more effectively. Hence, Kinesiology aims to promote: healing and recovery, the relief of pain and discomfort, and the prevention of illness. Systematic Kinesiology unlocks the mysteries of our bodies and takes the guesswork out of treatment.

Why learn Systematic Kinesiology?

Personal reasons:

Perhaps you are looking for a career change: A qualified practitioner can earn between £20.00 and £50.00 per hour.

Maybe you want to help keep your family and friends healthy and emotionally balanced. Kinesiology will arm you with the tools to do so.

You will definitely learn a new approach to health: yours and others’.

Practical reasons

Kinesiology is the most holistic approach to balanced health, allowing the practitioner to determine the root cause of an imbalance (nutritional, emotional, structural etc.).

A kinesiologist is able to pick up imbalances before they become a clinical problem. Prevention is better than a cure.

It is safe and effective on children, the elderly and the infirm.

If you are an established practitioner then you will find it a useful adjunct to your therapy, helping to choose which aromatherapy oils, homeopathic remedies or herbs to use.

Kinesiology will give you many more tools to add to your “Healing tool Box”.

Thanks to Kinesiology we are able to determine which vitamins and minerals are essential (instead of taking a handful randomly from your health food shop just because you read it might be good).

Learn effective techniques to reduce pain, illness and discomfort quickly (usually within the first 3 treatments).
